Pilates Touch – 28th August- 9am-1pm
In this workshop we will have a close look and feel on how, where and when we touch in Pilates and what impact we have on body structures and all layers of the individual. Corrective, positioning and guiding touch are the Polestar categories. We will add more tools, like restoring, assessing and balancing touch as it appears in the environment of Pilates in individual but also group class settings. Pilates Arc for Back Pathologies – 28th August – 2pm-6pm
In this workshop we will provide you with insight and useful exercises about what you can do with the Pilates arc to restore mobility and facilitate body mechanics in order to solve pain pathologies of the back. Learn how to restore the curves in a very functional and successful way and teach a group arc class specifically for back clients to enhance your class schedule.
Polestar’s Approach to Neurological Rehab – 29/30th August – 9am-6pm each day
This course is designed to identify special needs and interventions for individuals suffering from common neurological pathologies: Neurological Injury & Neurological Disease.
This course will build on Polestar’s principles of movement to facilitate a successful movement experience for clients suffering from the above impairments. Participants will be instructed in treatment planning using the entire Polestar Pilates Environment.
About Alexander Bohlander
Alexander Bohlander, PT, Osteopath and Homeopath, is one of the first Polestar affiliates and has been a Polestar licensee for many years. For the last three years he has studied Meditation with the Chopra Center and has recently been approved as a Primordial Sound Meditation Teacher. In his three Health Centers in Cologne, Germany he incorporates Meditation as a rich supplement to Pilates, treatments and coaching.
