We have been asked by students for some small workshops in Hong Kong, both because we have very eager students, and also because some students need to earn a few extra CEC’s for re-qualification.
With that in mind, Polestar Pilates Asia Director or Education, Dawnna Wayburne, will be will be conducting a series of workshops in the coming months. Please see below for the first two workshops scheduled!
Somatic Psoas – 11 Dec 2015
A few years ago, no one EVER mentioned the Psoas but in recent years just about every problem (or remedy) has been attributed to this poor muscle.
Rather than replicate information that’s out there already, this workshop highlights the concept of “Connections”. All the work compiled here is based on the research of other “truly great “teachers from the Feldenkrais and somatic worlds and using Pilates as their vehicle of delivery has created a rich tapestry of movement exploration.
