Each exam, whether it be the Mat, Studio, Rehab or Reformer will consist of three parts:

• A written exam consisting of 50 multiple choice questions.
• Written class development and/or case study. Students create two, hour-long mat classes for a specific class population.
• A practical section which will test self mastery and teaching skills.

You can earn Polestar qualifications in Studio, Reformer, Mat and Rehabilitation. Fitness qualification Fitness qualification in Mat, Reformer and Studio is available to personal trainers and group exercise instructors, as well as instructors of movement arts such as dance, yoga, and Tai Chi, and practitioners of somatic movement such as Feldenkrais® and Alexander® techniques. Polestar offers the most comprehensive qualification exams in the field of Pilates-evolved techniques. Rehab qualification The Rehab qualification is designed for the Rehab professional (Doctors, Physios etc).

Registration opens on Friday 28 August 2026 at 10:00am Hong Kong time. Places are limited and are allocated first come, first served.

As a Polestar student, you have access to a wealth of valuable course materials through the Polestar Online platform (the online courses awarded depend on the course you are enrolled in). Access is included in your course fee, although there is a limit on how long you can access the online course. This provides students with the opportunity to use this valuable learning resource until they sit their exams. For professional courses, students are encouraged to take the exam 6-8 months after the last course module. Students who choose to sit their exams at a later date (within one year after the last course module) may be required to pay an additional fee to maintain access to the online course.
