Polestar Retreats are Back! Malaysia Retreat

  

Its been a long time, but we have decided that it is about time to have another Polestar Retreat - a Polestar getaway in an exotic location, which is also packed full of Polestar Continuing Education. This retreat will take place in Malaysia and will be another wonderful opportunity to learn, network as well as have lots of fun! The retreat will be held in August and Polestar President Dr. Brent Anderson will be flying in to join us - we will be sending the full details out to you very soon.  

Japan Country Seminar

We are very pleased to announce that Mr Juan Nieto a prominent Polestar Host for Spain and educator specializing the rehab area has agreed to join Dawnna Wayburne, Polestar Asia education director in presenting at the Japan Country Seminar 2-4 March 2012, in Tokyo The full programme is in the design stages right now and the three days will include a pre confernce course and tons of intersting lectures and workshops, all earning Polestar CECs. Please contact Pilates Lab to found out more and to register for this event.  

Conference in Shenzhen, China

Polestar Pilates Asia is working together with the Physical Club in Shenzhen to organize a Pilates and Movement Conference in Shenzhen, China in the first half of next year. We are aiming to plan it for the beginning of April 2012 - we will have the exact dates and programme ready for you soon, so stay tuned - it promises to be great as usual, and will be our first conference held in China! This is great news for all of our students in China, as well as those that are close by. 

M3 and new series in Hong Kong

Mat with Small props will be held at Iso Fit, Hong Kong on the 07/08 of January 2012. The Polestar Mat with Small Props (M3) is held only once every 18 months or so in Hong Kong- so don't miss the opportunity to add an extensive range of Pilates Mat exercises (using foam rollers, Ultra-Fit Circle®, springs, gym balls, rotating discs and balance boards) to your group and personal training repertoire.......Register on our website.

Juan Visiting Asia: Juan Nieto, Educator and Licensee for Polestar Pilates Espana (Spain) will be visitng Hong Kong in March next year. As well as being one of key presenters for the Japan Conference, he will also be available to run some CEC courses and workshops while he is here in Asia - stay tuned. Read more about Juan here.

Host News: We always like to keep you up to date with some of our Hosts around Asia, particualrly as we break new ground in different parts around the region. Well done to the following hosts:

• In-Motion in Hong Kong who have completed their first Mat and Reformer series. We look forward to many more series!
• Firmpoint Studio, who have completed their first Comprehensive series in Indonesia and are in the process of organizing their second!
• Essential Movement Studio Kuala Lumpur who have begun their first Mat Series!
• Prof. Hong-Jo in Korea for getting a new and exciting university programme up and running in Korea.
