Directors Corner
So, the HK Conference is over
and we've all come away...hopefully.... with wonderful memories and a lot to
think about with regard to our teaching with heightened awareness of the Rehab,
Classical and "somatic" approaches to Pilates.
A great sense of achievement remains for everyone involved. This event was an
indubitable success thanks to a synergetic combination of the effort and skill
of the Polestar Asia team, the help and eager cooperation received from
In-Motion studio and numerous other people, the input and professionalism of
the presenters and lastly but definitely not leastly the enthusiasm and energy
of all those who attended our Pilates People Conference in HK this
year.
You make all the preparation and time invested in putting together these annual
events more than worthwhile. We thank those of you who completed our on-line
feedback survey and providing us with valuable information on how to make
future events even better. For those of you who were not able to attend, there
are still places available for the Seventh World Polestar International
Conference in San Diego end May!

Polestar Hong Kong Conference-2011
The Pilates and Somactic Movement Conference was held last month
and a great time was had by all. Thanks to those of you who attended,
presented, hosted and we look forward to the next event in Asia. Of
course, a Conference cannot go by without many wonderful photos and videos to

Polestar International Conference
Not to be missed!! The 7th Annual Polestar Pilates World
Conference: Building for Life, will be held next year from May 27-29 2011 in
San Diego, California, USA. Garaunteed to be an amazing Pilates experience, it
will truly embody the essence of Joseph and Clara Pilates and will couple with
Polestar's vision to "impact the world through intelligent
movement"....

Japan
The whole Polestar organization and community was deeply shocked and saddened
by the events that took place in Japan and our heartfelt sympathy goes out to
the people of Japan.
PPA used the Conference to try and play its part in helping with the recovery
process and are very pleased to announce that your contributions togther with
PPA's amounted to HK$9,720!
New Host - In-Motion (HK)
We are pleased to announce that we have new Polestar Host sites in Hong Kong. In-motion is an exciting new studio in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon. In-Motion will be hosting Polestar Pilates Courses, primarily for the Cantonese speaking population (with full Cantonese support) and we are excited to have them as part of the team.
